I just renewed for 2 years. Verizon sent me an "upgraded" router. It is not. It is the same as my current one. My old router gets the speed that is I am supposed to go. How can I return it and not be charged.
Either return to a local Verizon Fios corporate store. Get a receipt.
or call 1-800-VERIZON and try to get a return label. Again make sure to get a copy of the tracking number so you can know when they received it.
