i will need some help on this one. the router will not factory default. somehow the provided password the tech setup does not work. i held down the reset button for 30 seconds. i log back into the router and it asks me for a long and password. usually it should ask me to reset my password? any ideas? is my router broken?
i wanted to add one more thing. after 3 attemtps it then locks itself out so i have to reboot. why wont it default and then ask me for a new password? help help help.
Factory default is not 'no password'. You still have to enter the factory default password. Then I think it will ask for another.
