Personal Verizon Webspace FTP Process

Message 1 of 2 (5,355 Views)
Personal Verizon Webspace which is a feature that is complimentary with our HSI and FiOS service for business and residential customers.  Some customers have used File Transfer Protocol to make their web updates on their Personal Verizon Webspace.
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is no longer supported because it does not allow for data encryption, meaning that customers using FTP risk exposing their user ID and passwords on the internet.  Our complimentary sitebuilder tool is still available to help you with the secure creation and modification of your webpage on your personal webspace.  If you choose to use Sitebuilder, please be sure to download your current personal webspace files and delete the files you currently have on our server before August 21st to avoid any conflicts with the pages that Sitebuilder will create.
