Hello. I have been trying to setup a webcam with port forwarding for several days now with no luck.
I have two devices on my network that I want to access remotely - a server and a wireless webcam.
The home server sets itself up and is easy to access using just my IP address. However, when I try to access my webcam even when appending he appropriate port number to the ip address (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:yyyyy) all I get is a failures.
I followed the instructions provided in the other threads with no luck
(http://forums.verizon.com/vrzn/board/message?board.id=FiOS_Internet&thread.id=358)
I can access the webcam via my lan by using the ip address and port information, but whenever I try to access it outside of my LAN I just get failures.
Any ideas?
