Port Forwarding on MI424-WR

Message 1 of 3

I'm having difficulties with port forwarding on the MI424-WR and am wondering if anyone else experiences this same problem.

I was successfully routing to a device on my network from the outside world.

When I unchecked the box and set it to inactive, then reactivate it, I can no longer access the device from the outside world. No changes have been made to the forwarding settings, just a simple deactivate and activate.

Any ideas why this happens?

No idea.

You could try resetting the router and then re-enter the port forwarding rule

#1 In the router go to Advanced -> IP Address Distribution.

#2 What is the DHCP Range of the router?

#3 When you tried to port forward, what IP Address did you try to forward to?
