The on screen TV instructions say to press and hold the WPA button on the router, but after doing that and waiting for the connection it says the connection failed! I'm frustrated. Can anyone help? My tv upstairs adapted to the new router just fine, so I don't know what the issue is!
If WPS doesn’t work then type in the password manually.
If possible hook it via Ethernet which is much faster and more stable.
my smart tv’s are all hooked this way. As other poster said you can run through the setup manually where you seek out the SSID of your router, connect to it and then enter the network password manually.
