Strange. Not sure why my description of the problem doesn't appear. I'll have to resubmit at lunch when I'm at my home computer.

So, my VPN was working prior to Fios and when I got the Westell, I just copied over the port settings. Here's what I have open now:

 

L2TP - UDP 500 -> 500 
        UDP 1701 -> 1701 
        UDP 4500 -> 4500

 

PPTP - TCP 1723 -> 1723 
        GRE

 

Thinking the problem might be with this, I turned off Port Triggering for L2TP.
