I posted this once before and for some reason it did not appear here so I will try again. I tried to upgrade my service to the 50/25 internet as advertised. I could not accomplish this via the internet or the STB channel 500. I went on live chat and thought this was handled. It was not! They completely screwed up my account. They took off all my original contract discounts, put my on a month to month, and my bill went from 111.00 to 170.00 dollars! So far I cannot get this fixed, I am on the phone right now with supervisor that seems he cannot help either and is going to switch me over to someone. He has said repeatedly that if I get cut off..... So I am assuming that I am going to get cut off. Beware! Changing your contract in anyway because it can cost you. What is advertised as a simple upgrade has turned into a debacle of huge proportions. I will get back to you when I get done with this call

Ok the problem was solved. After over an hour from the beginning to end. I suggest that if youre going to go for the upgrade and for some reason using the channel 500 remote button push does not work and/or the verizon web page upgrade button fails, that you DO NOT USE LIVE CHAT! Call the 800 number and speak to someone who knows what they are doing. At least there you can get a feeling of whether the person on the other end is competent. BTW i did not get cut off..LOL even though I did in live chat. I htink 'Flo' saw what a huge problem this was and 'accidently' turnred the power off on her PC/MAC?
