Quantum Gateway Cutting Out Intermittently (Wired)

I just upgraded to 150/150 today. I got a new Quantum Gateway router (as well as a new ONT) and it worked during the speedtest before the Verizon tech left and within 20 minutes it started disconnecting every few minutes or so. Not only the internet connection fails, but the entire LAN doesn't work (can't watch Plex etc).

I'm assuming this isn't an ONT problem considering I can't connect to local machines, what can I do? Is this a router issue? Do I need a new one? I didn't see anything in the router log for the times noted above, no errors at all.

Edits:

Worth noting this happens on multiple wired connections (one directly into router), and wifi.

The router light stays on as if everything was working (no blink, no red, etc). The loigin page (http://192.168.1.1/#/login, not myfiosgateway) for the router looks like this while the network is down:

1-800-VERIZON have them troubleshoot first then have a new router and have them send out a local tech.

good luck

Ok, was just asking to see if it was something that was known or some sort of easy fix. I'll call em up and try to get it sorted.

I had a similar experience going from 50/50 to 75/75. I installed the new to me(refurbed) Quantum modem. Right away, connection drops, the top globe light would turn red during these drops, and also( but a continuing problem from 50/50) was not getting anywhere near 50mbps on the upload tests.

SO, Had  a very good tech come out on Sunday(yesterday), he added in a CAT cable connection from the ONT to the modem. Fixes everything! To be sure he then swapped out everything the ONT, the Quantum(to a new one). Everthing is fast both up and down, and most importantly no more dropped connections.

In summary, if you are not connected from the ONT to the Quantum via CAT and only coaxal, suggest that to support. They need to switch it via software on the ONT after the connection is made, so I don't think you can do it without their help.

I have 75/75 via coax to my Quantum router and have no issues with Internet drop outs.
