Hey all, I'm looking into getting FiOS and was wondeirng what the Router/Modem choices are? I run a pretty intense home network setup with a Pf Sense Router, Wireless AP and a 24 Port Switch. The idea of using the "Wireless Gateway" I see advertised everywhere makes me cringe. Is there any way around this? is there just a Modem available?

Fios does not use a modem. Only routers. So you can use your own and save some money. However if you plan on getting tv and phone with internet there is a different set up. http://www.dslreports.com has a fios forum and has a page on setting up your router
