I got smacked with a $91 charge for a technician to come and check out the system. ...
I'm a little puzzled in that you posted under the DSL/HSI category but you say you have FiOS. In any case there is no way that VZ can check your switch from their end. You paid to have a tech show up at your location and discover that you used faulty equipment not supplied by Verizon. Is there any reason you didn't do this yourself before asking them to send the tech, or did I miss something?
