Removing Verizon router antenna

Message 1 of 2

Currently, I have the MI424WR GigE router with 2 antennas. I was just wondering if I can remove one if not all antennas since the cables are blocking the lower antenna. Will it affect wifi speed and range or not? I currently live in an apartment if that should make a difference.

It should impact your wireless performance, but by how much is unclear.   So you should try it and see if it's dramatic or not.  I personally wouldn't do it, I would try to find a way to situate the cables differently.
