Can I connect my coax-connected router to any coax port in my house?

Short answer: yes.

Longer answer: The coax port must be connected to the FiOS network.  This is the coax coming from the FiOS ONT, which may be inside or outside.  There can be splitters between the ONT and router, however there is a limit how many you can have.  I don't know the limit, but typical homes will not exceed it.  I'd guess the limit is somewhere between 10 and 100.

Note that splitters that have more than two outputs are actually multiple 2-way splitters inside the case and need to be counted as such.  For example, if you use a 4-way splitter, it counts as two splits.

Bottom line, plug your router in wherever you want and if the Internet light turns on you're good to go.
