Router speed

I have a gateway router but my wireless computer only sees the 2.4 and not the 5ghz.

Is there something wrong because my phone sees both.

Nothing wrong at all.

wireless radios can be dual 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz or just 2.4 Ghz.

you can purchase a wireless stick with the 5 Ghz if your computer does not have it.

Netgear makes a great product.
