We had a problem with our WiFi so after chatting with Verizon we changed the password and the router was updated I think? Now my ChromeCast won't connect to our WiFi. I talked to a CC customer service rep and they said it was an issue with the router. The router is an Actiontec MI424WR and my CC is a 1st gen. I found somebody else with the same problem and they told me that they fixed it by going to http://192.168.1.1/index.cgi?active_page=6059 and disabling the IGMP Proxy but this did not work for me. So how do I get it to connect?
Silly question, but I assume you changed password for WiFi on Chromecast as well?
