*Just* signed up for FIOS TV 2 hours ago.

Attempting to set up myFIOS on iPad. 

Type in User ID, password.

Device not recognized, "Please enter secret answer."

Have _never_ set up a secret question, so can't answer question.

Therefore, can't log into myFIOS.

Come on, Verizon - get your crap together.

You're off to a lousy start for a new customer....

Did you try the obvious? Leave it blank. Try it I hope it works.

that is sort of like old Time Warner cable who on our calling to cancel services asked us for the four digit security code that was set on the account. I told the guy on the phone there is no four digit code on the account. He said there was. I said again cancel the account. He said his instructions were to not cancel any service without that code.

needless to say I went to the Time Warner store near me. Got this guy at the desk returned all the tv boxes and said it better be cancelled immediately. They cancelled but told me the secret code was 0000 which was system generated. I was livid.

hope it works out. But you have a 30 days total customer satisfaction guarantee in which you can cancel within that time frame.
