Security Software will not install

Trying to install Verizon secuity software.  Get Exit code 11 - Conflictin Software has been detected Application Conflict?  What next?  Reinstall did nothing but get same error.

Check your programs and remove any security software that is still installed on your computer. After you do this reboot the computer and try to re-install the VISS.

I'd recommend a free product like Avira. It has been a top AV for years and is free.

It has a better protection rate compared to VISS McAfee and uses less resources.

I only encourage free software/antivirus's if you know what you're doing on a PC and you can fix your PC yourself if a virus sneaks it's way in.  If you aren't comfortable with PC's then you want to buy or subscribe to someone so that you have a support avenue if things go south.

I'll agree with this. Avast is also another really good one. The boot scans are awesome at finding stuff.

There's free and paid and way less chances of false positives like you tend to get with mcafee and norton.
