How do I know that no one else can access my router and is using my internet service? Also, what should I do to lockout any unauthorized users?

The ActionTec router comes from the factory already encrypted for 64 bit WEP. You can go into the router's settings and change it if you like.

So my router is secure from when the verizon techs set it up?? It does not have a secure symbol next to the name? How can I go in to check this on the router system? (I'm using a Mac)
Thanks!

Type 192.168.1.1 from your internet browser. The user name is either admin/password or admin/password1 unless you already set up your own.

If you can't get in to the router press and hold the reset in on the back for 10-15 seconds. When you log back in the user name and password is admin/password.
