Service Outage - No customer service

Our neighborhood lost power for approximately 12 hours. It has been restored for about 5 hours. Our FIOS service (internet, TV, phone), however, remains off-line. I have attempted resets of the router and battery backup, as recommended by Verizon automated assistance, without success. I have attempted to reach a customer service representative, but have been waiting in the queue for more than 2 hours. Any advice on contacting a live customer service representative?

First, check for lights on ONT.
That will help detemine issue.
I have found twitter to be quite helpful @verizonsupport.
Not quite realtime, but I find them very helpful.
