Setting up wireless HP printer error

I have a new HP wireless printer and I've tried setting it up on my home network but NO! It won't connect.!  I have uninstalled the Verizon security suite thinking something in there was blocking the installation.  I have the correct network and network key but I get an error on the print out that No Filtering is a FAIL.  Any suggestions?  Maybe a Lexmark would work???

I am having the same problem. I have an Actiontec  M1424WR. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a difficult task to help not knowing a few particulars, like hp model, wep/wpa2, etc.
