Anyone else having problems today with severe drop-outs and connection speeds? I powered off my modem last ight because of severe weather here in n texas and when I powered on I received a new IP address. However, all day has been constant drops and speed problems.
Anyone else having problems or is Verizon having an issue?

Your problem may be regional and could be due to damage caused by the tornadoes that ripped through the area southwest of Ft. Worth. Everything is normal here in the northeast.
I did experience an outage for a few hours a couple of nights ago though, the first failure I've had in the several years I've had FiOS service. I was able to get right through to tech support, they could see the problem, they told me when it would be repaired and they were correct.
