Signing into Modem

Hi!

I have an Actiontec modem and I'm trying to login. The username and password that I've used in the past do not seem to be working.

What to do? I never changed them. I don't understand why they've stopped working.

Use admin and serial number. Actually it is a router. admin and password or password1 were changed because of security issues. If you had a simple password, it may have also been reset to the serial number.

Which number would that be, exactly. I've tried every number printed on the sticker on the bottom and none work.

I did the Mac ID, the wep, the essid... what am I missing?

Its under the bar code. CSxxxxxxxx something or another. It is case sensitive

Probably easier and faster to just reset the router by pushing the reset button on the back for a few seconds.

You'll then be prompted to select a new password when you next login.
