Lots of missing information here.
- What speed tier are you on?
- What speeds are you getting?
- Wired or wireless connection?
- Why do you want to delete devices from the router? Their presence won't affect your speed.
- How many STBs do you actually have? You shouldn't delete them since they need an internet connection for VOD and guide data.
BTW, the MI424-WR is a router, not a modem.

- What speed tier are you on? 75 mps
- What speeds are you getting? 84.17 download / 39.08 upload
- Wired or wireless connection? Wired
- Why do you want to delete devices from the router? I wanted to delete so i have enough ip's to add another laptop. I tried to add a laptop last night and it said that the wireless connection is not avaiable but it was shown in network connections
- How many STBs do you actually have? I have You shouldn't delete them since they need an internet connection for VOD and guide data. I have four boxes with built in dvr. I dont know if that answers the question.
I just wonder if i should leave the coax alone and can i add additional devices to the router.
