NOTE. when you do this you will not be able to connect directly to the router to reconfigure it or to turn the dhcp server back on. You can do that by configuring the nic on a wired to machine to have a static address on whatever network the dhcp server was set (by default on that Asus it's 192.168.1) or resetting the router to factory defaults will turn the dhcp server back on too.
