I just moved and in both places I have used Verizon FIOS. I tried connecting using the new Network name and password, but it doesn't work. I did notice that a network name comes up "Other Network" that appears to have the same strength as the one I'm trying to connect to. I know this because I am able to connect with my laptop. I've tried to connect using that one and also a new network profile I created. I've tried unchecking the ip4v device. I don't understand what I could be doing wrong. Please help.
Not sure what you mean but am guessing by the fact that you say your laptop connects that you mean the wifi connection isn't working.
Seeing as your laptop connects OK then log on to the router admin pages and setup the wifi the way you want it with an ssid and password of your choice. Then on your other devices tell them to forget the old known network and search for new network and use the new passowrd you set up
