I had Verizon internet service set up a few months ago and I recently tried to swap out the Verizon router for another identical Verizon router that I acquired. However, when I connected the new router, the wireless signal worked only intermittently. I re-connected the old router and released the DHCP lease, and then re-connected the new router, but it's still not working consistently. Any idea what is wrong?

Bad router is my best guess. Call 1-800-VERIZON and have them troubleshoot the routers and then swap out if necessary.
