Hi,
I just upgraded to the new (G3100) router and it's working great.
I'd like to move the old router (G1100) upstairs with a separate SSID.
Can this be done?
If so how do I connect the old router?
-Cat6 to the new Fios router?
-Cat6 back to the Fios modem?
Settings to change on the old router?
Thanks!

You need to connect from lan port of G1100 to Lan port of G3100.
Google how to make the G1100 into an access point.

I also have a G3100 extender.
I assume I cannot create a separate network/SSID with that? Even if connect it to the G3200 with a cable?
