I have an ActionTec MI424WR cable modem + wireless router combo. This router has 2 USB ports in the rear. Does anyone know if these ports could be used to connect an external hard-drive or a regular printer, so they could be accessed by all computers in the network? I couldn't find any information regarding the USB ports in the user manual. Thanks in advance.

that particular Actiontec Model - if it has Verizon Stock Firmware - does not have USB support.
They are reserved for future use, but are not currently useable

That may be called a future feature but is really just cripple-ware. Might give the cusromer something useful.
