My Fios internet set up when very smoothly until I checked my HP1018 printer connection from my networked desktop. The printer has been connected to a windows laptop. The laptop is connected to the router, Before the installation my desktop could easily see printer share, but afterwards it could not. Tried to delete and reset printer. Finally a post to this forum had the answer:
Go to "advanced" and "reboot router." Do not choose "use saved settings." Follow the prompts. Printer share now works.
I did have the laptop set up as server for the initial fios installation. Now my desktop is server, and rebooted router from that setup. Perhaps that had an effect on the printer setup? This network includes Ubuntu and Windows systems.
