Unable to use port 4 on router

I am unable to use the 4th port on the router, is there a setting in the router that I need to enable in order to turn on the port?

After connecting the CAT 6 cable, the light for port 4 does not light-up.  Have tried two different cables.

Thoughts?

If you have tried plugging in one of the devices that works on ports one through three, and it does not work, then you know it is a bad port. If one of the other deivces switched from the othe port does work, then it is a bod device that you are pluggin into the router. If the port does not work at all, call tech support and ask for an exchange.
