Does anyone get upload speed of 25 Mbps as promised by Verizon Fios. When I check with FioS tool I do but when I checked with an independent speed test tool, http://www.checkinternetspeed.net/ I get less that 5 Mbps. Do other people see same results?
I tested that site and the results were lower than any speedtest site I've used.
Try this site. I've found it to be reliable and it also lets you choose different servers. http://www.speedtest.net
I just tested my speed with checkinternetspeed.net and I firmly believe that the upload speed is grossly in error. I have 25/25 service, every speed test site I have used except checkinternetspeed.net gives results like 30+/23+ while this one gives 30+/5+.For example I just did speedtest.net and got 31.66/23.32 and speakeasy.net and got 30.70/23.43.
Something is wrong with the checkinternetspeed.net upload test.

I'm going to have to agree that the "checkinternetspeed.net" test is giving false results. Even testing here from work, the result it gives is MUCH lower than what I know I'm getting, and MUCH lower than any other speed test I've tried.
I'm having difficulty locating information about the site, but from what I can tell it's actually hosted out of Europe somewhere. To get an accurate result, you should use a speed test with a server closer to you.
