How do I Login to my Verizon M1424WR Router when I get the following message:

Login has been temporarily disabeled due to too many unsuccessful login  attempts, please try again later.

I have been trying to login for six days and keep receiving the same message.

Any help would be appreciated>

1. Ignore the dots that appear as you type. VZ adds in extra ones as a security feature.

2. 'the default router password is located on the router usually. If it is but you have since changed it, you can hold down the reset button. You will lose all your setting thou

You are using the wrong password

Reset it to factory defaults and the user will be admin and the password varies depending what revision level of the router you have

What is your rev level?  It will be marked on the label at the back of the router.

If it's the newest, rev I then the default password will also be on a lable on the back

When you get the "too many login" message, further attempts to login will extend the time.  You need to stop trying until the router resets.  I believe the time frame is 24 hours, but I'm not sure on that.

Alternatively, you can reset your router.  Push the reset button on the back and hold it for 15 seconds.  That should enable you to login.
