Verizon Taking Traffic from Website

Newbie

I'm trying to get to http://www.lambofgodctn.org/

but Verizon keeps directing me to Verizon search page, effectively stealing traffic from my client at lambofgodctn.org.

There may have been a problem with the page, but I removed it. This page

  http://www.lambofgodctn.org/?subj=home

is the exact same page as
http://www.lambofgodctn.org/

PLEASE FIX YOUR THEFT OF TRAFFIC.

===

While I"m at it, stop sending my typs URLs to your search page. You forward to your own URL, making it harder to correct the typo in the URL I type.

===

Why am I posting this here?
 Because your support doesn't give any good options... **bleep**...Verizon support reallly, really sucks. It seems you purposely hide where and how to

--ask questions of support

--post new topics to the forums

And you use forums for your support...head shake.

I have no idea what the problem may be in reaching your site, but two things:

1) I use OpenDNS for my DNS service, not Verizon, and it can't find your server either, I am taken to an OpenDNS search page that says your site is not loading. So I interpret that to mean that it is not Verizon specifically that is causing the problem, it is a general access problem to the site.

2) No, Verizon does NOT use forums for their support. As is clearly stated in lots of places here on the Verizon Forums, these are where users help other users. Occasionally a Verizon rep may step in to help where it is obvious that another customer can't, billing issues for example, but for Verizon support you really need to call Verizon, or use the Chat, or visit them on Twitter or Facebook, if you really believe it is a Verizon problem.

Again, I don't pretent to know what the problem is, but based on my little bit of testing I don't think it is really a Verizon problem.

Sorry I can't help, I hope you get the problem fixed.

It could be an issue of your domain hosing, and or scripting. I go there from my Iphone and get a plain blank brown page. I do not think it is Verizon's DNS Servers, but as said, your hosting server.

If Verizon can't resolve a host or domain name, the default to their domain search page.

Just clicked on both of your links, and they are working fine for me.

Yeah, they work now. But they didn't a little while ago. Anybody got any idea why, what has changed?

It's a Christian website, Justin. It just takes a little faith to make it work.

Working fine here from the old DSL network. I'm not using Verizon's DNS servers though.

As mentioned prior, check your domain records and how they are set up, and also make sure the domain is actually propagated globally. There's some tools online that can be used to check this. Verizon only redirects to search results if you use their non-RFC DNS servers (the default) when it's not able to look up a domain name, or if you actually do typo a domain, once again using the non-RFC DNS servers.
