Verizon router not allowing VPN to connect....

VPN worked seamlessly M-W this week then come Thursday it stopped allowing the vpn connection to pass through the Verizon supplied Actiontec router.

I have changed nothing on my side from my pc or vpn setup.

When I logged into the router I can see in the security log that it is blocking the connection with errors as follows:

Oct 23 09:45:04 2015Outbound TrafficBlocked - Default policy
Oct 23 09:44:50 2015Outbound TrafficBlocked - First packet is Invalid

This is my second day trying to resolve and the only thing Verizon has told me is that they can allow me to speak to a "premium tech" support person and pay for the time.

I changed my firewall settings on the router to allow for incoming and outbound and it is still blocking.

Please help.....

Is the VPN server on your LAN set to a static LAN ip address?

If the LAN address is not set to static its very likely that it was assigned a new LAN address hence why the connections are being rejected. Few questions, what OS is the VPN server running? What VPN software?

Also posting a screenshot of your firewall configuration page would be helpful Smiley Happy
