I am a power user and NEVER need Verizon's help other than to perform a technical task on their side that I don't have access to.  The idea of them having access to my WPA passphrase is exactly why I only use my OWN routers.  I use a MoCA adapter to bridge the networks so my boxes on the  75ohm network have full connectivity.  Why would they think anyone needs such an intrusive feature.
