Hello, I have Verizon Fios-G1100 router/wifi setup in the corner of my basement and some part of my house does not get a wifi signal. What can I get for the second floor to boost the signal and how hard is it to setup? Thank you

https://www.verizon.com/support/residential/internet/equipment/network-extender
You could check out the link above. However other companies make better and cheaper network extenders for home internet. Netgear is one that comes to mind.
the verizon one is said to be seamless since its verizon=verizon but people have said it tends to lose connection frequently and is expensive.
check out best buy in your area and talk to a tech there that knows about home networking.

What band are you on - 2.4 or 5.0GHz? 2.4GHz will go through more obstacles (walls, windows, etc.) than 5.0GHz. The wavelength of 5.0GHZ is small compared to 2.4GHz. Try using the 2.4GHz band and see if that works for you. Otherwise you will need to get a wifi extender as mentioned.
