Received a letter from Verizon which offers me to upgrade to FiOS with a coupon. The letter stated that I have to respond by 9/8/2012 by calling a 1-888 number. I called on 8/30 and 8/31 for 3 times and got verified and transferred to someone can help.
The phone will hang up after 30 seconds stating no one can help. I did not know what happen so I called verizon help line and their have no idea about the offer. So this week, I called everyday since this Tuesday and have same result: no one will answer the phone. Finally, today when I call, the message told me the offer has ended. What a joke.
What I do not understand is if Verizon does not honor its offer why send me the letter?
BTW, the letter is from Executive Director, National Marketing for Verizon.
Does anyone had same fate?
