I recently switched to Verizon's FiOS service and I can no longer connect to the internet with my WD TV Live HD box. I have an Actiontec MI424-WR router/modem. The WD box worked fine for the last year or so with my other ISP. I have a wired connection and can see the WD box when I go to the admin screen of the router/modem.
Can someone please help me out?
Thank you!

#1 What is the exact brand and model of the WD TV Live HD box?
#2 What is the hard version of that router?
For example Actiontec, MI-424-MI, Rev C.

Have you done the Check Connection test (page 29 of the manual)?
- Do all three tests pass?
- Can you ping the WD unit from your PC?
Could you describe the problems you're having in more detail?
Are the problems
- connecting to network shares?
- Streaming from the internet?
- or????

It fails the tests and I can't ping it.
Normally I would be able to stream video and audio from the internet and now the WD box can't connect to the internet. I can see the WD box in the router admin screen, but when I test connectivity, it fails.

- On the main status screen of the router, does the WD box show as "active" or "inactive"?
SInce you can't ping it, I'm assuming it appears as inactive.
This implies that the WD box obtained a DHCP lease at some point but has not been able to renew it.
If this is the case, that tells me you have a bad connection between the router and the WD box.
- Have you tried replacing the cat5 cable?
- Have you tried power cycling the WD box?

Is your WD box connect wired or Wireless?
Have you run network setup on the WD box? It most likely was connected to a different subnet on the other ISP and you will have to run the network setup again (wired) to choose a new IP address
If connected wirelessly you will need to choose a different ssid for the new router router.
Looks like it might be Section 5 starting at page23 of the user manual.

Wired.
Yes, I ran network setup and it fails to connect. I would try wireless (which I have used in the past), but then it makes watching streaming video virtually impossible (choppiness/buffering issues).
I was thinking of doing a manual network setup, but wasn't sure what the ip, subnet, etc. would be.

if you are connecting to the VZ router the network setup would be Ip address 192.168.1.x where x is a number between 1 and 254 not used by any other device - say 200 for example
the gateway is 192.168.1.1
the mask is 255.255.255.0
the dns server is 192.168.1.1
