I am looking to get a Fios internet-only plan in New York City. There are many promo pages like https://www.verizon.com/home/bundles/fios/ that advertise prices like "50/50 Mbps Internet $49.99/mo for year 1. $59.99/mo. for year 2w/2-yr. agmt. Plus taxes, equip. charges and other fees. Beg. mo. 25 stand. rates apply." What are these standard rates? I could not find this information anywhere on the website. I.e. if I had signed up two years ago and my promo rate were now expiring, or if I was signing up now but wasn't a "new" customer eligible for the promo rate, how much would the rate then be? Is it the same as year 2, another $10 higher, or something absurd like twice the promo rate?
Also, what are the "other taxes and fees"? There is a mention of a $10/month router rental fee which I intend to avoid by declining the router and hooking up directly via ethernet. But are there any other fees? I hope by skipping TV and phone I can also avoid the worst of the hidden fees associated with those, but are there any internet-specific fees (other than installation fee)? Is there a list of applicable fees anywhere? The Terms of Service here (https://www.verizon.com/about/sites/default/files/Internet_ToS_07242016.pdf) simply state: "You agree to pay the fees applicable... The taxes, fees and other charges detailed in (a)-(d) above may vary on a monthly basis." I am hesitant to agree to pay arbitrary fees without even knowing what they are. Especially when they can be changed any time like in https://www.dslreports.com/shownews/Comcast-Sued-For-Misleading-Hidden-Fees-138136.
Basically I'm saying I would be more comfortable making this purchase decision if I knew the below-the-line monthly cost up front.

Standard rates are what the current rates are at the time your contract would expire in 2 years. No way to know now what those might be.
And fees vary so much by area.
Also depends on your package.
Best bet is to try and call customer service to see if they can work up and order for you.

I am not certain in just what other fees there may be. With simple internet only.
the sales people told me it was my promotional rate (I have no contract) after 12-24 month bill credits plus an administrative fee of around $2.50 so my 150/150 is $79.99 plus the $2.50 or $82.49 per month for first year.
The regular price is $114 a month without bill credits. The $10 comes into play if you rent however I purchased it as a safety net if I need customer support so I paid $150 for the Quantum Gateway Router G1100
New York City may have city fees not needed in upstate New York or elsewhere.
the other replyer is right in their estimation of your circumstances.

Whatever Verizon feels like charging!!
The recent increase "ROUTER MAINTENANCE" although it is not a lot of money I finally have a reason to change providers
Cell Phone (2)

You do realize all providers have fees.
And they can add or raise them at anytime.
Little loophole they have left themselves in their contracts.
