Is there anyway, whatsoever, to tell when an area will get Fios?
I'm currenly a verizon landline/DSL customer, and separatly I have Directv. I'm looking at new services ( TV, phone, internet ). I've wanted Fios ever since verizon interduced it, But I've been resigned to the fact that it will be quite a long time before my area gets it.
That is until resently when a sub-division had a lot of orange conduit buried. I suspect this is Fios, but I would like to be sure. If Fios is only 3 to 6 months before service is availble then I will wait. My problem is I'd like to switch TV service ( Directv is good, but HD options are pricey ).
