Where is my technician?

We signed up for Fios and had an appointment for the techician install our service between 8 and 10am. It is now 12:40, and no sign of the tech. I have been unable to reach a real person at Verizon to assist.
Where can I get an estimated time of arrival for the techician, or should I take my business to Comcast?

did you check your email or check and see if voicemail was left for you?
Verizon sends emails stating they are on the way, they also call the number you gave them for contact to have the installer let you know when they are arriving.
Barring that 1-800-VERIZON is the number to call.
