My WiFi service has been bouncing for a couple days. All lights on the router are green. Now my DVR is hanging up and rebooting itself. Sometimes when it comes back on line, it says "there is no data connectivity". I check the router and again, all lights are green. Any thoughts?
Try logging into the router and checking the system logs. We need to see if the router has any acknowledgement of a connection drop. Please avoid rebooting the router if at all possible until the logs are obtained.
Visit http://192.168.1.1/ and log in using the username and password printed at the bottom of the router. On some older routers, your username will be admin with the password being the router's serial number. Once logged in, go to System Monitoring, Advanced Monitoring, and then choose System Logging. Look for any log entry that shows "Coax Link Down" or "WAN down"
