Will G3100 improve my wireless coverage?

Compared to my G1100, will I get more range and better reliability on my (g) and (n) devices? Even if I disable the WIFI-6 functionality? Thanks.

The G3100 does have way better range than the G1100. The G1100 was never the greatest for wifi coverage.

Google the G3100 and you will find it’s just as bad or worse than the G1100 which both have lousy wifi coverage. You would be better to purchase your own better router by Asus or Netgear or TP Link with external antennas.
