I was just reading networking info on Verizon website and noticed that the users' manual for my Verizon router, Actiontec M1424-WR (rev. F) does not mention Windows 7 ?
Is this router actually compatible with Windows 7??
Wondering because I have been frustrated with problems with slow internet connection, and sometimes the internet connection just cuts out or I get error HTTP400 (I think?) when I click to open a web page.
just curious

a router is a router. what operating system you use does not matter. you can use windows 95 or windows 3.1 and it would still connect to the internet, provided you have the drivers for the network adapter in your computer installed
Everything that connects up to the Internet follows a set of standards. As mentioned above, as long as the device supports up to TCP/IP, it is good to go on the Internet. Any other problem would be due to driver problems, which I doubt is the case here.

Windows 7 isn't the problem. It works fine here. You can dowload and run a free trial version of
Hitman Pro that's great for finding "issues" in your computer that other programs can't. Good luck!
