Wireless Modem Connection

Hi folks,

I recently moved a computer into another room, farther away from the wireless modem and I noticed that the connection speed had gone down slightly.  It's now showing as "Good" or "Low" at times.  I want to boost this up, how can I do this? I called verizon tech support and one person told me to just go to the store and buy a "booster antenna. 

I go to the store and all I could find was one, and it's not going to fit.  The screw in part is too big.  Anyone know which type of antenna I'm looking for? One that will fit on the mode.

Try doing changing your wireless channels before going out and purchasing anything.
