Is there a new Router for FIOS that is Wireless N

All the new routers come from suppliers with wireless N. I believe the Verizon firmware disables it tho

Which routers would they be? and when was that effective?

Verizon routers do not run Wireless N.

You may be aware of this part.. Wireless N vs Wireless G won't impact your browsing speeds. It can impact if you are sharing files between PCs in your network. This is because Wireless G handles more bandwidth then your ONT feeds your home.

To run Wireless N in your home you will need a different router. There is good information on how do that in this guide..

Not 100% true.  Wireless G has a theoretical max of 54mbs.  If you take in network overhead etc. this is likey to top out in actuality at around 30mbs, best figure, and typically will be much worse because of signal intererence etc.  Running hard wired is a far preferable way to go and the only way if you have a 25mb or more connection and really want to try and use it all.  With the advent of the rumoured new hi speed fios connections gigabit and wireless n routers would have to be supplied in order to use the bandwidth.
