Just got FiOS internet and it's great! I have just one problem. From my laptop computer, I can no longer access the files in my desktop machine or use the printer. I've made sure that the Windows firewall is off and that file sharing is on. What do I need to do?

Does the same problem exist if you plug the laptop in to a LAN port on your Verizon router, with wifi on the laptop turned off?
What o/s are you running?
Did you install Verizon's security package when you got FiOS?
