I only have a blue screen and a message that says windows is shutting down and my memory starts getting dumped onto a CD
Sounds like an operating system issue, like corruption. Could be a hardware issue, or a virus. Only way your FiOS internet connection could be involved, is if you were not protected against maleware or viruses. It looks like you need this issue resolved without your FiOS connected. Perhaps a reload of your system, or check of your hardware.
