Very strange thing has happened and am looking for ideas. my wife frequents a proboard forum and all of a sudden she cannot get to it. Did all the usual things restarted computer, reset modem cleared cache etc. I have tried this on 3 different computers and an Itouch. We are getting an error message of "Safari can’t open the page “http://multiplemamas.proboards.com/” because the server where this page is located isn’t responding."
The site is up and running we have contacted the admin of the site and also admin of proboards and have confirmed the site is up. She can access the site from her blackberry just not from home. Pining the site comes back with 100% packet loss.
almost seems like fios has blocked and site within proboards.com Any ideas would be great.

it will self heal. I can explain why its happening if u want but you should be able to temporarily access it with a proxy. Go to www.greensurf.info and u can access it until you get a new ip address.
The best thing for you to do in my opinion is physically power off your router when you got to bed tonight. In the morning when you turn it on you will like get a new ip address and be able to access like normal.

So what's blocking you? Most of the time its the site itself blocking or banning the ip address you have. Not to any fault of your own probably. The ip addresses are shared between residential users, so whoever had your ip before you may have reeked havoc on their boards.
Its also possible that its something as simple s an out of date boon filter and a new ip would solve that too.
There's also something new I came across and ill post a link if I find it. The first two and the ip address being at fault are the most popular reasons this happen though.

Looks like greensurf.info hasn't renewed their domain registration yet.
try this site instead
https://www.megaproxy.com/freesurf/
If she or you can access the site using a proxy like that, then it's most likely just the IP being blocked.
