We have found that everything we watch is available online, so we're cutting the cable.  Plan to keep FIOS internet.

Question:  can FIOS internet coexist peacefully on the same coax as local stations via antenna?

Shouldn't be a problem, because out of the ONT your coax runs to your router.  the Local Antenna stations don't touch ONT or Router, and plugs to a rf or antenna in connector on your TV.

should be fine.     they won't even know the other exists,.

ONT plugs into house coax at structured wiring panel.  router plugs into coax downstream.  Antenna plugs into house coax in attic.  tv plugs into coax over yonder.  one set of coax everywhere.

will FIOS internet (internet only, not phone, not tv) conflict with OTA tv frequencies on the same coax?

There will be no conflict as far frequencies are concerned. The FiOS internet uses frequencies from about 1000Mhz to about 1150Mhz..  As far as I know, all Over The Air TV station are now below 700Mhz.. At one time UHF television reached up to about 850Mhz (channel 88 IIRC), but the upper part of the UHF spectrum became the 800 Mhz mobile Phone band, and with the arrival of HDTV, another piece of the top end of the UHF TV  (channels 60-69) spectrum became a new 700 Mhz Public Service Band. So there are no over the air TV channels anywhere near the frequencies used for FiOS Internet.
